Alayna Rosé is a fine art, time-limited edition print of an original photographic artwork by Amber Griffin.
This artwork was produced, from concept through to completion, entirely by Amber with the support of Jackson Estate and graces the bottle label of their 2016 limited edition Pinot Rosé.
The artwork’s copyright is exclusively held by Amber Griffin. By purchasing a fine art print of this time-limited edition, you are in no way granted any copyright or any usage license for reproducing this artwork.
This edition is printed on a 100% cotton rag, fine art paper with a velvety-smooth, matt finish. This printing style is archival and free of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC). As with any artwork, it is not recommended to display this work in direct sunlight.
Each print measures 25” wide by 20” high with an additional minimum 1.5” white space boarder, ideal for traditional framing. Amber believes that framing is a very personal choice and should enhance the print while also working with the environment your artwork is destined to be displayed in. We highly recommend taking your print to a professional framer to discuss your framing options.
Your print will be shipped to you carefully rolled in a cardboard tube. This tube is not an appropriate long-term storage solution. We recommend framing your artwork as soon as possible to avoid any risk of damage. If, for any reason, you are unable to frame your artwork straight away, we recommend storing the print layed out on a flat surface and sandwiched between white tissue and sturdy cardboard.
The Alayna Rosé artwork is copyright 2016 Amber Griffin. This edition and all production materials and media utilised to create this edition are authorised by Amber Griffin. Amber Griffin reserves all rights to the image’s copyrights and/or trademarks and reserves the right to reproduce this image in future editions of different sizes and/or mediums including print, electronic, or other.

Exploring the beauty and majesty of movement through a diverse selection of contemporary photographic processes is Amber’s quest in her first collection of works. Many images use a stop-action technique that capture the pinnacle of the dancer’s movement with beautiful clarity. Others explore the full breadth of movement revealed by the dancer through an artful mix of long exposure with high speed flash. Amber broadens this technique through a fine post-production process that lift subjects into new and ethereal realms.
“Her intimate understanding of the art of dance, and her relationships with the people who tread these boards, makes for a powerful and collaborative pas de deux between the photographer and her subjects” – f11 Magazine
These images were made possible through collaboration with some of New Zealand’s top dance talents including Loughlan Prior, Alayna Ng, Jono Selvadurai, Alice Macann, Sam Wilson and Adriana Harper. By investing in any 1/1 Vintage print from this series, you will be directly supporting the featured dancer as well as the artist.
